We are an Events company based in Amesbury, Wiltshire and specialise in Event Bars, Catering as well as the hire of inflatables.
Our Story
Born in 2005, Harry has always possessed a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creating memorable experiences. From securing his first job at a local hotel at just 13 years old, he developed an early appreciation for hospitality and customer service that has remained at the heart of everything he does. Alongside this, his lifelong love of horses led him to study at Sparsholt College, work as a jockey, train as a stable hand and become involved in racehorse training, nurturing a deep connection with the equestrian world and the outdoors.
Harry's passion for both hospitality and equine life inspired the launch of his first catering ventures, operating from converted horseboxes and attending some of the UK's leading equestrian events. Combining practical experience, determination and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service, he quickly built a reputation for quality, reliability and attention to detail.
What began in 2025 as The Old Forge Mobile Bars and Catering, with a single coffee trailer, has evolved into ViX Events – a thriving business providing catering, food and beverage management, and concession services for a wide range of prestigious events. In 2026, the business was rebranded as ViX in honour of Harry's late mother, Vicky, whose encouragement, support and belief in his ambitions played a pivotal role in the company's beginnings. Her memory continues to inspire Harry's drive, resilience and commitment to growing the business she helped shape.
Today, ViX Events encompasses multiple mobile units, including bars, coffee outlets, catering trucks and specialist food concepts, while also delivering tailored event solutions through a trusted network of carefully selected industry partners. Supported by an incredible team of family, friends and colleagues, Harry remains focused on expanding the business, creating outstanding experiences and building a legacy founded on passion, dedication and exceptional hospitality.
